Embracing Challenge
Bedworth United Academy aims to release the academic potential in all learners through innovative and forward thinking systems of delivery by experienced and motivated tutors, all learners are fully supported in their education journey. We ensure that all of our tutors are approachable and maintain the highest standards at all times.

Unlike a lot of other Academy Education Programmes delivery of our education sessions are not done remotely on IT but are delivered in our purpose built classroom face to face to allow students to fully interact with both staff and peers during sessions.

The BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Sport Coaching Development is a two-year course, requiring 15 hours of study per week, which are fitted in around the football training. The vocational course explores different areas of employment in the sports sector, and is perfect for those aspiring to a career in sport. The course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and equates to UCAS offering the perfect progression to university degree courses. Bedworth United Academy had a 100% success rate in 2020/21 for University applicants being accepted onto their first choice area of study.

All players will have work experience opportunities to work directly with the academy and 1st team staff to experience many aspects of 1st team match days, contributing towards; assisting with tactics and coaching, video analysis, sports therapy and physiotherapy, media production, match commentary, hospitality, social media, security and stewarding and much more.

As well as studying the main qualification we also deliver enrichment sessions which are tailored to the learners needs as they progress through the course, an example of some of things we have covered in the past are British Values, Equality and Diversity, Communication Skills, Sexual Health, CV skills and Money Management. These sessions are delivered during our tutorial sessions by our experienced Welfare Officer and lead to honour awards awarded by our education provider.
